I stand with Phil Robertson and the entire Robertson family whom seem to be a fine Christian family. I am sick and tired of the gay lobby in America dictating to American people what we are to think.
For those folks who are of same sex orientation I say this, live a celabate life, just like non married heterosexual folks. The bible is very clear in many places that homosexual acts are wrong, sinful and people are not to engage in them.
For several years I have noticed how the cable networks promote the gay lifestyle and I am darn sick and tired of it. Anyone who watches Duck Dynesty knows the Robertson family is a strong Christian family, this should not come as a surprise to anyone at the network that carries the Robertson family. HGTV panders to gays in a very open way. I do not watch shows that promote this nonsence. If A&E drops the Duck Dynasty show, I will drop A&E just like I dropped HGTV.
America is in a moral decline. People that stand up for the Word of God are constantly under the gun, and we are called hate mongers. I do not hate homosexuals because of their orientation, I do not like it when they push their agenda down my throat. It is time for Americans to openly stand up for God.

REVIEW
This is the time of year when most folks take time out from the hustle of the holiday season, Christmas, New Year and what ever non believers celebrate, the winter solstice I would guess, and think about their life. What was good, what was bad, have I met my goals for the year, for this stage of life. We tend to look back and remember things we wish we could forget, and the warm memories from years past.
As we age we tend to dwell on our early years. I hate to because even though I came from a loving family, we were dirt poor, and when I think of my childhood, I think of winter and the cold weather. Walking through cold and snow to go to church early in the mornings, going through snow to get to school. Snow days were not in our school districts list of things to have. If we went some place we had to walk to get there. The Middle West is like the North Pole in my mind. Food was simple but good, how Mom kept us fed and clothed I will never understand.
I grew up in a four room shack with a two holer out back. We got our water from a pump in the back porch. Life was hard for my mother, but we played by the rules and grew up with a strong faith in God.
The America I see today may have much more in material goods, but I see a lack of faith in God, and our government has let our people down. I wonder if we were better off in the days of old, or in modern America. Winter in Wisconsin does that to a person, makes one remember the bad times and makes life miserable. I hate winter.
Winter kills people in many ways. Ice covered roads, people without money to heat their homes, SAD, as well as regular depression. Winter in the cold part of America sucks. Spring can't come soon enough.

ONE DOWN.....
As loyal readers know, I love automobiles, vintage autos, sports cars, American muscle, etc. There are two cars I have been waiting to get my butt into, the Jaguar F Type and Corvette Stingray 2014. I finally got my hands on the Jag, now to get into the Stingray.
The Jaguar F Type is the most well designed, engineered, and well made auto I have ever been in. This has got to be the all around best car I have ever seen. As you all know I am a Porsche and Mercedes guy, well, count me as a Jaguar guy now. This auto makes everything else in it's price group look like Ford Pintos, and yes, I once owned a Pinto! These Jaguars are the leader of all sports cars made in the world today. Now to get a Stringway and see if it meets up to all the hype, the F Type sure does. Check out Motor Trend and other auto magazines and check out the stats, this wonderful and exciting car meets them all.

IRAN
Looks like Barry Obama and John Kerry sold our pals in Israel down the river by making a deal with Iran. From what I can tell, Iran gets billions and gets to keep their reactors and we get nothing. I am afraid Israel will feel the need to do what the United States is afraid to do, take out Irans nucular facilities. Iran still has, as their official policy, the death of Israel, that must change before we do any kind of deal with Iran. And remember, Iran is supporting the killing in Syria, and sponsoring terrorism through out the Middle East. Obama is a weak sister, has no real experience in foreign affairs, and is such a self loving madman, he has no business making any foreign policy decisions. Obama is endangering Israel and America. I hate the fact that Obama had to dump Hiliary Clinton, put in another week sister, and make a deal with the devil. May God have mercy on America and Israel.

WINTER
Well, it is real, winter has arrived in Wisconsin. I hate winter. It's too cold, too much snow and ice. It is dangerous driving, heck even walking can be deadly. Then there all the things I have wrong with my body that get worse in winter. Did I say I hate winter?
Most sane people that can afford to spend winter in warm climates. I was lucky to do this a couple years in the past. Wish I could do it this year because I really don't think my body will get through another rough Wisconsin winter.
When we were kids we got out the sleds, skis and skates and had a good time. Didn't have to worry about driving during blizzards, alternate street parking, breaking bones on ice. Ya, those were the good days, except even though I did enjoy sledding, I never liked to cold, I believe God wanted me to be a California kid.
Did I say I hate winter? SAD is a very common disease here when it gets dark out so early and it is too cold to get proper exercise. The idea is to get an expensive light and sit in front of it. My brain can't be tricked that easy, I'm no dummy.
Bears are natures smart animals, they hibernate in winter. Lots of my friends call me "Bear", in part because I am built like one, and in part because I want to join the bears of Wisconsin and hibernate. Also because I love the Chicago Bears and most folks in Wisconsin love the Green Bay Packers. Did I say I hate winter?

MADISON AND AUTOS
Madison, Wisconsin is a good city, kinda nutty but if a person can ignore the uber libs, it can be a good place to live. One of the things I hate about the town is the anti automobile nuttyness that runs throughout the leadership and has for years. Most Americans love their cars, and take pride in ownership of them. They are so much more convienent than public transpertation.
Madison wants to make auto ownership difficult so people will take buses or ride bikes everywhere. Don't get me wrong, riding bikes is great for exercise, but not very good for everyday transportion. Autos are great for so many reasons. The auto made America the great nation we have today. When President Eisenhower built the interstate highway system, it opened up the country to Americans and helped build our great nation for folks to explore on their own. Our auto industry created a solid middle class, and gave designers and engineers the opportunity to build great world class autos.
Americans have had a love affair with their autos for years and the commie people of Madison can't stand this, they design new streets to make bike riders happy and mass transit for more people with auto owners coming in last. Utter nonsense.
I really enjoy cars, passenger, vintage, and race cars, especially open wheel autos. The lines of autos made in Europe from the 1930s to present day is pure beauty. Jaguars, Mercedes, BMW, etc, they are things of beauty. At the present time most Jap and American autos look all alike. I enjoy designers who can take on new challenges and shake up the industry, like Chrysler did in the 1950s. We need more aggressive folks who understand the joy of beautiful autos. I realize the government has the hands of these folks tied with so many rulkes and regulations that it is hard to come up with new ideas, but they must keep trying.
We must not let people who dislike cars get the upper hand. We must not let the commie Madison liberals dictate what we drive.

PRESIDENT KENNEDY
In my opinion, John Kennedy and and his brother Bobby were the greatest politicians and leaders in America in the last century. It is my opinion the CIA working with the Mafia killed both men. For years I believed in the Warren Commission, however now that I have been in politics for over forty years, now that I see elected "leaders" do not work for the people and learning of more government bad actions, I believe the conspiricy therories.
We do know that the CIA used the mob in other action. We know that our spy people do things outside of presidential control and U.S. laws. President Eisenhower warned of about the military industrial complex, and we know know President Kennedy made the decission to get out of Vietnam. He was a strong anti communist, one of the things I loved about him, but he saw the flaws of trying to make Vietnam into a modern democracy. That idiot George never learned anything from history and tried to make the Arab leaders into modern leaders, something that will never happen.
The time period between 1963 - 1968, was the end of America being a great country. With the killing of the Kennedys, the civil rights leaders, etc, America lost her soul. America lost her moral standing in the world. America is not the great nation that saved the world from the demons from Germany and Japan. We no longer are the country our great Founding Fathers made. How very sad.

CHICAGO BEARS FANS
I know I am prejudiced because I love the Bears, but, today they made me feel wonderful. Chicago had a sever storm today, it was pitch black in the early afternoon with hurricane force winds and pelting rain. The had to stop the game and the fans were very save and sane in how they went about seeking shelter at Soldier Field. After the game was restarted my Bears went on to deliver us a win over the nasty Ravens.
Very proud of my town, it's team and the people of Chicago.

The Circuit of the Americas, Austin, Texas played host to this weeks Formula 1 race, and what a special race it was. I was pleased to learn that most od the drivers really like this track. There was passing in spots where many other tracks would not be safe to pass at. Imagine going from a stopped position, up a 131 foot incliine then have a blind left hand turn! What a groupof really interesting places to pass on this track. The folks who designed COTA did a fantastic job. We have a real jewel in F1 racing, I just wish more people would discover the greatness of F1 racing, it is the best there is.

SHAME ON .....
Shame on the greedy retail companies in America. Why have holidays if people can't stay home instead of going shopping on those once respected days? Having spent lots of years in retail, I am very much against the trend in modern America by making the workers give up their holiday and make them wait on idiots who just have to rush to the store with other nuts. Thanksgiving Day is one day we should be in touch with family and our spiritual side and be thankful for all God has given us.
Then there is the NBA who makes players play basketball on holidays including Christmas Day! There is no need for this greed. The NHL does not play on Christmas Day, why does the NBA thinks it is a good to break up families on this holy holiday?
America, we need to get back to basics now before it is too late for our nation to be punished. Wise up and get back to putting God first in our personal and social lives. Look, I know not everyone is a Christian, however, the majority of us in America are, and we should be given the same respect other Americans get. God, family then everything else. I am ready to go back across the pond to the old country and try and live a God centered life. I hope it is more so back there.

OOOPPS.....
I am sorry if you wonderful readers are not getting any political opinions from this blog lately, I apologize. The problem is that I seam to have drawn the attention from government big brother types who do not like people to write the truth about the Obama administration. They do not like people who love our great nation to freely let their feelings be known by the general public. In short, I have every reason to believe that one or more alaphetbet soup of spy agencies has had me under survelience even though all I do is sit here and write what I believe needs to be said. Once the crap dies down, I will let you know what I feel about the latest nonsence from this incompent group of people.
AUTOS
As most of my readers know, I really love automobiles, vintage sports cars, muscle cars, concept cars, cars of all types. Over the last year I have test driven and leased many different modern autos and have come to several conclusions, the biggest conclusion is that most autos with fancy screans on the dash boards are nothing but a headache. They add to the cost of the car and for many of them, the first thing to break down.
I have respect for the Dodge Charger and Challenger. The Chevy HHR and Ford Escort are two of the small cars I like. The Escort would be much nicer without the electronic screen. I found most American autos worthy of their purpose. The Camero is one of my favorite cars, my least favorite, by far is the Toyota Prius.
O.K. yuppy nerds calm down, the Prius is one of the most popular among hi tech liberals in college towns, but guess what, I found the tin can to be the worst car I ever drove, ever - and I owned a Ford Pinto. The prius had only one good thing to say about it, the brakes were great, other than that it is a loser. I would not feel safe driving my family in that Jap junk.
Germany is still making fantastic cars. Audi is super, VW has quality cars, and I still have yet to drive a BMW.
Waiting to get behind the wheel of the new Corvette Stingray. I hope it is as enjoyable as I believe it will be. I also am lining up a Jaguar F Type.
I still am looking forward to finding someone who had an older sports car from the UK, they made so many great, and I mean great cars. I have fond memories of a friends TR3, and an MG. I love the older sports cars. They need more work and tender care than modern autos, but the styling, the feel of a mechanical beast is hard to overcome.

BOSTON STRONG
Yes, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series at Fenway Park for the first time in 80+ years. I am so proud of this team. Going from worst to first form one season to the next. How about "Big Pappy" Ortise batting .688 for the Series! Wow, that was fantastic. Dusty Pedroia handling second with such grace. Both teams deserved to be in the World Series, and I was just glad Boston pulled it out in six games. I have to collect my thoughts on this past season and write morre about the ups and downs, the awards, like Carlos Gomez of the Milwaukee Brewers winning a Gold Glove. Watch this blog for much more of a recap soon by the worlds biggest baseball fan. Forgive me for misspelling Ortize in line three.

LOST AND ALONE
I have been interested in politica all my life, and active in it since 1968. Now America's political scene is so miixed up that I feel lost and alone. If I had to be forced into joining a political party today, I would not know what to do. Back in the day when I got my start in politics a person could be a leader in the county party even if you did not agree with everything the party platform stood for. Today both major parties want a person to be 100% behind the latest fad the party is for, or else get the heck out of the party. Well back in the day when I was anti union and pro life, I was a leader in the Democratric Party. Then back when they went abortion and gay crazy I joined the Republican Party. Back then there were moderates who were party leaders and that was fine. Now everyone who is not a right wing Attila the Hun type person, do not even think about being a Republican.
This is why America is in such a mess, people do not feel comfortable with our political parties, and when this happens, it is the beginning of the end of great Republics. Why can't a Republican say he liked the Kennedy brothers without being sliced and diced by the retarted tea party people? Why can't a Democrat say he liked Ike or TR?
I have never felt so lost and alone in my life. I am at the point where I would leave America if I could afford to move to Ireland or Scotland or Germany. I feel that the people of Great Britain and I are more alike than the people of America. CHILL OUT
Hey Tea Party people, chill out. America has not had this kind of extreme anger in public discourse since the time the South hated Abe Lincoln and left the Union. Remember what happened? Johnny Reb got their butts kicked in a very bloody war and ended up as second class citizens for many, many years. To the people that are polluting the air waves with their hate speech I say, chill out and think. That is right, think before you open your mouth, this is especially true of guys like Senator Ted Cruz. There is much good in the tea party movement, however, when backward thinking people run for office and they keep putting their foot in their mouth, they set the movement back years.
Those of you who forced moderate conservatives out of the Republican Party, well all I have to say is shame on you. It took lots of hard work to build the party that was founded right here in Wisconsin into a strong national movement, and it hurts me that you yahoos are destroying the once great Grand Old Party. Who are you to decide who is a Republican and who is not? Who died and made you the boss? You are responsible for the death of a once great political party, a party that many of you know nothing about. Shame on all of you.
