BOSTON STRONG

Yes, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series at Fenway Park for the first time in 80+ years. I am so proud of this team. Going from worst to first form one season to the next. How about "Big Pappy" Ortise batting .688 for the Series! Wow, that was fantastic. Dusty Pedroia handling second with such grace. Both teams deserved to be in the World Series, and I was just glad Boston pulled it out in six games. I have to collect my thoughts on this past season and write morre about the ups and downs, the awards, like Carlos Gomez of the Milwaukee Brewers winning a Gold Glove. Watch this blog for much more of a recap soon by the worlds biggest baseball fan. Forgive me for misspelling Ortize in line three.

     It is my hope that Mary Burke is elected governor of Wisconsin in the next election. Will add to this at a later time when I can sit longer.

NSA

If people believe the NSA was acting using American values they are dead wrong. We need our friends to be with us, not mad as hell at us. Obama should be impeached.

On a nother front, the "60 Minutes" report with the story about Benghazi proves yet again Obama is ripe for impeachment and Hillary Clinton should never run for POTUS. These dip shits are going to ruin America from within. As a matter of face that is the opinion of former CIA top leadership. We are killing ourselves by our stupid intelligence policy.  I have said it before and I say it again, the Obama administration must be kicked out of office. Obama should never have been elected in the first place. He didnot have the experience for the job, and he has proven he does not have the common sense to be president.

WORLD SERIES

To hell with the MLB umps that are working the World Series. I don't know who picked these clowns, they need to let the players decide the outcome of the games, not the dumb backwards umpires.

LOST AND ALONE

I have been interested in politica all my life, and active in it since 1968. Now America's political scene is so miixed up that I feel lost and alone. If I had to be forced into joining a political party today, I would not know what to do. Back in the day when I got my start in politics a person could be a leader in the county party even if you did not agree with everything the party platform stood for. Today both major parties want a person to be 100%  behind the latest fad the party is for, or else get the heck out of the party. Well back in the day when I was anti union and pro life, I was a leader in the Democratric Party. Then back when they went abortion and gay crazy I joined the Republican Party. Back then there were moderates who were party leaders and that was fine. Now everyone who is not a right wing Attila the Hun type person, do not even think about being a Republican.

This is why America is in such a mess, people do not feel comfortable with our political parties, and when this happens, it is the beginning of the end of great Republics. Why can't a Republican say he liked the Kennedy brothers without being sliced and diced by the retarted tea party people? Why can't a Democrat say he liked Ike or TR?

I have never felt so lost and alone in my life. I am at the point where I would leave America if I could afford to move to Ireland or Scotland or Germany. I feel that the people of Great Britain and I are more alike than the people of America. I really feel for Europe now that they know how America thinks we can spy on their leaders just because some nut case in the NSA and the White House thinks that is a good way to keep America safe. If we want to stay safe, how about keeping our friends from getting mad at us. If I had the money I would go back across the pond and reclaim my great grandfathers land, buy a dish to watch MLB and be happy. I am sick and tired of the nonsense here in America.

Please forgive all the spelling errors etc, my stupid computer will not let me edit then post, it is worthless and I type very fast when I get  upset about major issues of the day. I am not as dumb as this post reads.

CHILL OUT

Hey Tea Party people, chill out. America has not had this kind of extreme anger in public discourse since the time the South hated Abe Lincoln and left the Union. Remember what happened? Johnny Reb got their butts kicked in a very bloody war and ended up as second class citizens for many, many years. To the people that are polluting the air waves with their hate speech I say, chill out and think. That is right, think before you open your mouth, this is especially true of guys like Senator Ted Cruz. There is much good in the tea party movement, however, when backward thinking people run for office and they keep putting their foot in their mouth, they set the movement back years.

Those of you who forced moderate conservatives out of the Republican Party, well all I have to say is shame on you. It took lots of hard work to build the party that was founded right here in Wisconsin into a strong national movement, and it hurts me that you yahoos are destroying the once great Grand Old Party. Who are you to decide who is a Republican and who is not? Who died and made you the boss? You are responsible for the death of a once great political party, a party that many of you know nothing about. Shame on all of you.

PARENTS

Attention you parents out there, do you know what your kids are doing on their computers? Do you know if they are bullying anyone via the new social media or at school.? The sad fact is that there is a lot of this going on, and it is so intense that some young kids are choosing to commit sucide and causing others to consider this terrible deed. No parent should have to bury a son or daughter because young kids can be so mean and drive a person to take their own life.

Most kids have been bullied at some time or other in their life, I went through a year of it when my family moved from one town to another and I did not fit into the new school. I had to leave the town we lived in and finished high school in yet another city. I thank God I was able to get out of that hell of a school where I was harrassed almost every week. I was able to take it for one school year, but I refused to go back there for my senior year. Goint to three high schools was hard, but much easier than staying at the second school.

So many young kids are not prepared to handle the intense bulling with all the new social media, they can't change schools, it follows them on line. Something must be done about this behavior. Parents must know what their kids are doing and stop this sick, nasty behavior, and now before more kids decide it is too painful to have kids telling lies about them, the name calling etc can hurt kids who do not have a thick skin. Teachers must learn to spot this kind of activity and nad the people doing it. If it is necessary, the police must be brought in to stop this.

It appears that now the big thing is to attack kids for being homosexual, doesn't matter if they are or not, kids like to put that label on some youngsters. For some kids this just pushes them over the edge, they do not see any way to escape the bruttality of the verbal assaults, true or not.

Sucide is one of the leading causes of death for teens, and this must not continue. Death is so final, some kids don't quite understand this, as strange as it may seam. The parents are sent through the most horrible pain a parent can go through.

Please stop the bulling.

BOSTON vs ST.LOUIS

I have been a Boston Red Sox fan since the 1967 World Series when Boston lost to the Cards then. In 2004 I rejoiced when they finally won the Series for the first time in 80+ years. I figured if they could finally win, so could my much loved Cubs.

Not only am I pro Boston, I am anti the Cardinals. Yes, they have great players, however being a Cubs and Brewers fan, I have learned to strongly dislike the Cards. I saw them play in Milwaukee a couple years ago and they beat my Brewers, grrrrrrr.

I like the history of the Red Sox, would like to visit the city of Boston for all the historical places, and like the fact that there are lots of Irish folks there. Boston is one of those cities that need a national hug after the terrorist attack during the Boston Marathon earlier this year.

CURTIN'S CLUBHOUSE

What a baseball season. Ryan Braun confessed he was a jerk by taking PEDs and lying about it. The Brewers actually did O.K. for a team that lost most of their starters to injury, Brauns suspension, and AA players..........Cubs were crazy to fire Dale Sveum, Kansas City was smart for hiring him. Watch KC have a great year next year.......Worst surprise of the season for me was the lousy season the LA Angeles had, just proves you can't buy team chemistry.........glad the Yankees floundered..........Texas, what happened?..........the White Sox need to blow the team up and start over. The sad thing about that is they will have to get rid of Paul Konerko, one of the fine gentlemen in the game, and a great player......O.K., I hope The Dodgers beat the Cards, the Red Sox over the Tigers........that way I will be happy which ever team wins the World Series..........and the beat goes on, ............the beat goes on...................

UNITED KINGDOM

My fellow Americans, where as the government of the United States of America is no longer doing anything to help America become a better place for the average American, perhaps, now this is just an idea to consider, perhaps we rejoin with mother England and become a part of the United Kingdom! Let me know how you feel about this idea. I am sorta in favor of this since I was named for a great Scottish knight.
